Nam Theun II Ressetlement Pilot province village 

The challenge in this project was to design a new settlement for a community of fifty-five households affected by the construction of the Nam Theun 2 hydro power project. Ateliers de la Peninsule conducted a needs identification mission and held extensive public consultations at the village level before producing an innovative design for a five thousand square meters pilot village featuring dispensary, school, market, village community buildings along with power/water supply & drainage.
